I am so honoured to have played on the beautiful Joel McNeely score of Tinker Bell.
I enjoyed every second of it and I know everyone who sees and hears the movie will be absolutely enchanted!
I had the most amazing time working with the incredibly brilliant and welcoming team of people at Disney
and with the amazing composer Joel McNeely. They were kind enough to say the nicest things below and I thank
them from the bottom of my heart. More information will be added about this exciting work soon. I also want
to thank Celtic Woman for all their help and I'm really looking forward to seeing you all on our next tour
of the States!

| | The inimitable sound of world renowned violinist Máiréad Nesbitt'sunique, melodic phrasing becomes a character onto itself
in Tinker Bell, a spectacular, full-length animated movie from Walt Disney Pictures.
Composer Joel McNeely was searching for a unifying component for the film's score when
he saw Nesbitt's performance on a PBS special and immediately knew her captivating
combination of expressive Celtic style and full-bodied classical sound would provide the
perfect complement to his rich score and Loreena McKennitt's touching vocals. McNeely
composed music specifically to fit Nesbitt's distinctive style, and collaborated with the
soloist to further polish the music for Celtic authenticity. The result is an old world,
ethereal overtone that resonates with heartfelt emotion and color, and is particularly
evident in Nesbitt's inspired, lyrical solo performances throughout Tinker Bell.
