Máiréad played solo fiddle in a show recorded in Hamburg on January 23rd, 2002, by the Celtic Tenors for the German television station NDR (Norddeutscher Rundfunk), and called Grosser Irischer Abend (Grand Irish Evening). It was the German debut of The Celtic Tenors, performing together with Maíréad Nesbitt and Gaelforce Dancers, soprano Deirdre Gilsenan and The Vard Sisters. Máiréad played -  The Butterfly (from 'raining up') -  The Bird in the Bush (with the dancers) -  There is no Night (from 'raining up'). The show has since been shown repeatedly on German and US Television.
