Máiréad was voted ‘Best Traditional Female’ in the Irish Music Magazine Reader's Poll 2003. She played at the 4th Irish Music Magazine Awards Ceremony with her band on October 7th, 2003 in the National Concert Hall, Dublin. Her track 'The Butterfly' is on the Irish Music Awards CD 2003.
