Máiréad joined some of the very best in Irish Music in the Esplanade in Bray, Co.Wicklow, Ireland on Thursday 18th December. Performances featured Colm Ó Foghlú (Low whistle) and Noreen O Donoghue (Harp); Cormac Breathnach (Low whistle) and Martin Dunlea (Guitar); and lastly Máiréad, joined by special guests Macdara O'Conaola (singer), Noel Nesbitt (Flute), and Mark Nagle (Guitar).

These performances took place in conjunction with An Beal Binn, a Wicklow based charity that promotes Irish Traditional Arts. An Beal Binn has major exponents of art forms as diverse as poetry, sean-nós singing, dancing and instrumental music, performing concerts and holding masterclasses.

An Beal Binn are delighted that Máiréad agreed to come to 'Scléip na Nollag', (Christmas Bash), and kick off the holiday season with her signature poignant slow airs and lively tunes!

The night was interspersed with mulled wine and mince pies and full of holiday cheer!

The event was sold out, which proves the great work An Beal Binn does for Irish Culture and the popularity of the artists involved.
